These cases are made in our Brisbane facility, and are high quality.
This case has been CNC milled from 6061-T6 aluminium alloy, on state of the art milling machines using high performance carbide tooling, and is an extremely rugged construction. The design features a countersunk bolt lid design, to remove the need for bolts that protrude from the lid.
This case has been designed to be used for desktop prototyping, in a safe way.
Some design factors include:
- Anodised finish to resist scratches and corrosion.
- Slots for header pins and/or jumper wires to enter the case.
- Using all six board mounting holes for added rigidity.
- Countersunk bolt keeping the lid geometry flush (no protrusions) while being aesthetically pleasing.
- Only one sized Allen key is needed to mount the board and the lid.
- Reset button access
